I am terribly, abominably and irrevocably (not to mention lugubriously) sorry for joining this little club you all have. Honestly, I am a pain. When I reflect upon the portion of my life which has already elapsed and attempt to contemplate what remains I am filled with horror. I will laugh, I will cry, and I get plenty of lashes in my eyes for reasons which I can only presume to be diabolical.

Perhaps, we will learn to like each other. As we commensally learn to subdue our wretched screens and bend one another to our wills a mutual respect may come as a surprise. I will undertake to show you my humanity within my posts. I hope that you will see it. Remember, when I tell you that my Kobo is better than your Kindle for less than perfectly quantifiable reasons, you should punch me on the shoulder (lightly, I beg you!), flash a smile and say, "Oh, you! Always the monkey!"

We will get along better when we remember that our dissolution must come about and when it does we will truly be the same.
