I suggest the jetBook Lite instead of the Libre eBook Reader Pro (which is the same hardware as the original jetBook, but with different firmware).

Cheap Android tablets as ebook readers have not worked out well. The Nook Color is an exception, but it isn't cheap ($250). It is excellent value for money though. The best of the cheaper devices is probably the PocketBook IQ, which is reviewed on The eBook Reader. Note that PocketBook prices will go up in the US next week.
