I just called Sony and asked them to honor the $30 off from last week. I threw in that I was a "long time Reader user, and have bought several Readers." (Aren't we all!?!!) They honored the $149 and applied my $75 off.

Heck, I even screwed up, asked for $20 off by accident, got that cleared and had to re-ask for the $30 which they still accommodated.

Calling is the way to go.

Another thread reported the PRS-350 is as fast as the PRS-600, stated by a highly trustworthy user. That makes it about 2x the PRS-505, which also includes the significantly better screen. However, I still do not recommend trading a PRS-505 for a PRS-350. It's got a great screen anyway, renders LRF perfectly, requires less "clicks" to access your book list, doesn't need a stylus (if you don't want fingerprints on the 350), and is better on one-handded use.
