Bezos weirds me out a little less than the "no jacket required, black turtleneck a must" vibe that Steve Jobs has.

The most noticeable thing about the following pic to me isn't his expression, eyes, or what-have-you. It's that he's touching the screen like that. As a new Kindle owner, I'm way too squeamish for that. I'm one step away from holding it like a vinyl LP.

As far as the ereader vs. tablet thing, I can only say that in the short time I've had with my Kindle, nothing else compares to the E-Ink experience. If I think about reading any digital book, E-Ink is the image I'll be conjuring.
