Wie ich schon mal geschrieben haben: sorry this is in English...
I got my Pro 903! And I'm pretty satisfied so far!
Screen is good, speed is good, system layout is straightforward and the e-books and document files I've opened so far display perfectly.
The only thing I'm disappointed in, like others already mentioned, is
taking NOTES (actually the main reason I bought the 903 and not the 902, I don't care about 3G or WIFI). Currently taking notes in PDFs or EPUBs is limited to making .bmp block snapshots which have nondescriptive file names and are located in a strange location on the device (nothing is saved in the NOTES folder, but in the Active Contents folder instead). But in case of .chm files the note is actually saved as text and not as a .bmp?!
What I was hoping for (and would like to suggest here):
- selecting parts of the document (not block areas) and saving notes as text (regardless of the file format)
- possible to immediately add additional text (now you have to go to the book contents, select the note and then add text)
- automatic addition of book title and page number in note (or in the note file name or folder name; much more logical than 12384435.bmp)
- note storage location in the same folder as book storage OR in a user-defined location
- user-defined page mapping for each e-book/pdf. What I mean by this is: some PDFs start numbering the book later than page 1. That means the device numbering and actual page numbering are not in sync. If a user could define renumbering (like: - 13) so that they would be in sync, it would would make (automatic) numbering of notes correct, required for (academic) references.
- possibility to define automatic additions as fields to notes (like #title#author#year#pagenumber#) so it can conform to official reference systems, like APA
- (gray) high-light function: marking important areas in a text without taking notes, which is useful for quick-reminders when using an e-book for educational purposes
- handwritten scribbles that can be saved in an image format
I sincerely hope improvements in this area are considered important by Pocketbook.
Currently no e-reader on the market has a really good way of taking notes, so it would be a great advantage.
I'll keep my fingers crossed...
