Currently it is the only 7 to 8 inch eReader on the market now that irex is out of business. Everything else is either a small 6" reader or a huge 9" or 10" behemoth. For those that like to read manga, this is very important.
As for your issues, I use the reader to read and read only. I don't use the wireless much (although it works fine) and I just copy paste stuff directly to the reader's folder instead of trying to "sync" anything.
