Hi,
I'm a long-time user of Jpluck, and I figured I'd try Sunrise and see what the fuss is about. It indeed works better than Jpluck in many areas, but I have two problems:
1) I read the Reuters (
www.reuters.com) RSS feeds on my PDA. I used to convert them with Jpluck, which resulted in a plain-jane version of the feeds, easily readable on the small screen. If I tapped on a headline, the story came up, without all the "other stuff" from the web site.
With Sunrise, the headline links seem to redirect to converted versions of the web pages, instead of just the plain story text. How can I set up Sunrise so that the conversions are back to being "plain jane"?
2) I always used the Jpluckc (command-line) version of Jpluck to run a scheduled conversion each morning at 5:00am, via the Windows "scheduled tasks". I'd rather not leave Sunrise running all the time, as I like to keep to a minimum the processes running in the background. Is Sunrise able to parse command-line options to enable it to run at a scheduled time? (I've looked, but can't find any documentation of such a feature).
Thanks to anybody that can help!
