Don't feel too bad, at least your 600 was on sale - I paid quite a bit for a 505, not long before the 650 came out. Talked myself into getting a new one, and sent the 505 to a friend, who gets into Project Gutenberg-type classics.

I see folks reading e-books often around town ... funnily enough, almost no Kindles in Amazon's backyard (literally!). Next time you're on a plane flight, you'll see plenty of e-readers, just pay attention to the other passengers as you head to the lavatory in the back.
