Kindle 3 - 3G does work in the Czech Republic!

Hi All,
I think there's a few errors in some of the previous posts.

I have a European Kindle 3 (3G version) which I bought from Amazon in the UK on 19th December 2010.

I am currently using it in the Czech Republic (A town called Roztoky - just outside of Prague) and have full 3G connectivity.

I have been able to use the inbuilt browser to check my webmail (Https access), read the news from the BBC's website, check flight times on Wizzair's website as well as read up on tech reviews from the "trustedreviews.com" website....all for free....You don't need to buy a SIM card (it has one built in) or pay for any data costs.

So - if you can live with your webpages being displayed in black&white (and the relatively small screen size) it's a handy device if you need to use the web on the move.

Hope this info helps!

Maxik

Notes for the techies among you:
My serial number starts with "B00AA" so this is definitely the European version.
My Kindle software version number is : 3.0.2
