Yep restarted the PC after the driver installs ...

Now this is interesting - If I plug it into another USB while in the fireware upgrade mode "Menu+button+power" on the kobo it goes an install the device driver run. However, after the restart the kobo does not get picked up by windows at all :/ Once I do the clip reset and go to "Manage Library" the kobo hangs (or looks hanged) it stays the same if I unplug it then - Bascially have to do a clip reset to get it up again.

The Control+U+shift it's not working ... I assume the Kobo sees the PC connected at the point it asks to "manage Libray" or "keep Reading". So I still think for some odd reason Windows and the driver are not waiting to see the Kobo or commuicate with it from the other end of the usb cable ...

I'm not even getting a usb portable device attached icon in the area near the time (even in the ^ area) - I use to get that and it would than talk to Calibre after that ...

I'm thinking win7 64bit and the driver don't like each other :þ
