I'm happy as the proverbial clam with my iPad. Don't use it for reading ebooks, though. It's my truly portable recreational (as opposed to work) computer. I read newspapers, magazines (though it's odd how so many magazines haven't figured out the iPad yet) RSS feeds, watch some Netflix, surf the net &c.
The main reason not to buy an iPad is the cost.
