Just to add another device that has bitten the dust: QUE ProReader. It's rumored that the company is developing a "second-generation" of the reader after failing to meet the deadline in this summer. Once again, it will be at least 6 months before we can see any professional/academic eReaders. I wouldn't hold my breath anyway.
