Oh yes. Florida has always been adamant about people paying sales tax on out-of-state purchases, but the "voluntary reporting" system wasn't very effective so, like a few other states, they've apparently started requiring the collection of taxes by the retailer. I moved before that really went into effect, but I remember hearing the grumblings about it.

Florida, at least where I lived, also had a ton of taxation levels from the state on down. I tried to get a business license there, and although the people on the phone were certain that I had to pay business taxes to many different offices, no one knew what kind of license I needed. It was quite insane. TN is so much easier.
