I got a Nook and a Kindle. As mentioned in an earlier thread, I am still up in the air as to which I like better and am going to ultimately keep. Each has their own advantages/disadvantages. I like the Nook's screen better, i.e., the whiter background, choice of fonts, library capabilities, and the touchscreen is kinda cool. But the weight and battery life are negatives. I like the weight of the Kindle and insane battery life and can now download library books (thanks to google research.) But the proprietary thing is an issue. Question: Do DRM algorithms ever change? Will I lose the capacity to do so in the future? Also, what impact will Google ebooks have?
