I got a Nook and a Kindle. As mentioned in an earlier thread, I am still up in the air as to which I like better and am going to ultimately keep. Each has their own advantages/disadvantages. I like the Nook's screen better, i.e., the whiter background, choice of fonts, library capabilities, and the touchscreen is kinda cool. But the weight and battery life are negatives. Plus, an ereader that may lack future support (if BN goes under )

I like the weight of the Kindle and insane battery life and can now download library books (thanks to google research.) But the proprietary thing is an issue. Question: Do DRM algorithms ever change? Will I lose the capacity to do so in the future? Also, what impact will Google ebooks have?

Still deciding...one's going back.
