Hi Gul,

many thanks for this. First attempt didn't work - I held the on/off button down for too long. The instruction really means what it says in this regard - holding it down for too long prevents the process from proceeding.

That the instructions are so wrong is a huge disappointment to me and I think, a telling message from PB that quality control is sub-standard in many regards. (I note that on the PB 302 page - http://www.pocketbook-usa.com/products/pocketbook-302 - there are references to 602, 601, and 360 models!)

Given the issues others have mentioned on this forum and my experience, I can only describe the whole situation as one that reeks of amateurism.

On my device, the clock still does not keep time, one of the buttons feels as if it is not going to work much longer, the slot for the memory card is not functioning properly, and I was sent a black unit, despite ordering a white one.

In the event that the seller responds to me (or even PB support), I think the best thing I can do is seek to return it - it is not a quality device, and the firmware is sub-standard.

Thanks again for your help, I do appreciate it.
