If the charger cords are the same for the 7" and 9"(output 12v 1.5a), you can use the Energizer ER-PHOTO Universal Digital Pic Frame Battery. It comes with multiple tips, and the smallest one fits my Novel. It makes for a nice, small external battery to carry with me when I'm going to be gone all day. I got mine on ebay for under $20.
