Is the battery in the Sony reader replaceable? I tend to read anywhere from 2-5 hours a day.
How easy is it to use books from the kobo store on the sony reader? Is adobe digital editions a good program? I'm also interested in whether or not the PRS 350 has the ability to go to highlighted passages. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh, I also really like that collections can be organized into folders on the sony ereader. Oh, and one more quick question, are kobo ebooks formatted correctly on the sony reader?

I can answer a few of those.
Yes the Sony can have multiple bookmarks, and highlighted sections. Each bookmark or section shows up as a Note for that book, and you can jump to them as needed.
No the Sony battery is not user replaceable. Unless you're using a screwdriver anyways. But power consumption isnt really an issue anyways. Its easier to think of it in Page turn terms rather than straight hours. 10,000 page turns is the battery life. eInk doesnt use much in the way of power while the page is static, only really using power when the page is changed or refreshed. For a regular reader 10K page turns is probably a couple of weeks worth of reading. 5 hours a day would be more than average but still probably only needing to be charged every 3 or 4 days with extremely heavy usage. Charging takes a couple hours tops.
Kobo books would work fine on the Sony as they both use the Adobe Digital Editions if Im not mistaken. Even if there was an issue, you can still buy the books and strip the DRM to make them useable if you absolutely had to. Formatting wise, they should be fine as well.
