Wanted to add a thanks for the kind folks on here for sharing pointers/help with rooting and apps and what not. The autonooter was slick and worked easy enough. Now I just have to get familiar with everything I can do now.  |
Launchers are stock home screen replacements. You don't need one if you just want the default B&N home screen and only want to access your apps through the "Extras" screen. AWD Launcher and Zeam are widely suggested because Launcher Pro has a set of dock icons that are not replaceable. You're stuck with a phone icon in the dock.
Many people use Astro as a file manager. (download that). I would suggest downloading Root Explorer and ES File Explorer as well. They'll come in handy.
