Hello Maggie,

I am not in the States but in Europe so I can only say what I read here so far. Looks for me like getting him a Nook. The choice of books on the B&N site is awesome and the "lend me" function could be a plus with his friends and schoolmates.

As there are lots of free reads for a teenager in the net, i.e. Robinson Crusoe, Treasure Island and zillions of sci-fi books, I would think he will be happy with either of the readers.

You are a generous and sensible person, stay like that, please!
