I've used both kinds over the years. A good, unobtrusive touch screen is a "nice-to-have", but if there is any drawback to the particular technology used, I don't want it. For a good implementation, I'd pay maybe $10 extra. For an insanely great one, maybe $20.

Mind you, this is on an ereader. On other types of devices, touch screens are important-to-mandatory.
