I've seen one. Being There by Jerzy Korzinski--I didn't check spelling--and the movie starring Peter Sellers. I thought the movie was better. With Moby Dick by Herman Melville I thought both the book and the movie were oustanding and not in competition.

I haven't owned a television in over 15 years and consider television a pestilence.
