I had a business card taped to the cover and taped to the back. Apparently, the thief never took the kindle out of the cover. He tried to sell it for $200. I offered it to the Good Samaritan for $50, but he wasn't ready to turn his wife loose buying book (his words). So he got a nice Starbucks gift card, and I sold it on ebay for about $90. And another $50 for the Oberon cover.

Leaving your entire briefcase on the train is not all that uncommon. You should see how many they have at the lost and found! But here is some Karma for you wishing you never lose yours!
