If you look at these posts, you should find out what you want. Also, make sure you follow the nookdev instructions for post 1003... serial numbers and read the posts all the way through.

Unfortunately, Nookdev seem to have abandoned the old style nook after 1.4 firmware. Fortunately, the guys here are up to date.
