I used to make it myself: cheap red wine,one lemonpeel, one orange pierced by a lot of cloves (20),one cinnamonstick and some sugar. Make it warm(not boil)on a low fire, a couple of hours.
These days I buy it by the bottle, in Germany, and heat it up in the microwave. 
It has to be hot/warm to drink, and it gives me very warm rosy cheeks, by just looking at it. |
Ah ok it sounds like mulled wine which is a spiced warm wine which we have at Christmas time. Sounds good - enjoy
