I think that now we have a fairly decent idea of what folks have been buying this year through 600 or so polsters, Mark, it may be well worth while to keep this poll open over Christmas so that we can see if there's a sudden swing, possibly caused by those without ebook-device experience basing their choice of gift more on hype than knowledge. That's the point. 'Kindle' now seems to have caught on with the general public as a catch-all generic word for a reading device (like hoover for vacuum cleaner) and it'll be interesting to see if Christmas figures might be largely the result of such familiarity with the word or if folks are being more discerning and seeking advice as to what machine might best suit their friend or family member.
