Not that I want to bash Windows completely. I love the lay-out options Office 2007 has to offer. But I love my Mac even more
I had to laugh at this because it reminded me of my first Vista machine. Having used XP for years, Vista was like a nervous, overprotective parent with its User Account Control. The first thing I did was disable it, but that doesn't get rid of all of the confirmations. Yes, it's very annoying to those of us who know exactly what we want to do and what we are doing with our computers, but people like my Mom need that hand-holding. I'm convinced that UAC is the reason I haven't had a "tech support" call since she got a Vista laptop. The dire warnings terrify her, which keeps her from installing the random nonsense that used to plague her old computer. (I once removed 8 browser toolbars from her computer. 8. Half the screen was toolbars.)
