You're right, I saw the ending coming from miles away
That doesn't change the fact that Trudi Canavan has a really enjoyable writing style though. There aren't many books I can read late at night (because I'm usually too tired to read by then), but her books I can handle in the evening
I loved The Magician's Guild just as much (going to reread them next
), but I wasn't too crazy about the Traitor Spy books (which are a sequel to Magician's Guild).
