today i bought my dad a nook 3g which i'll give him on saturday

in the meantime i want to set it up first so that i can learn
a little about how it works before i give it to him,
so i can show him how it works -

im talking about a 90yo guy who might enjoy an e-book
but may have difficulty learning it on his own

this means i have to set up an email account and cc info first
in my name in order to get started

so my question is, after he gets it and if he decides he wants
to keep it, can he eventually transfer all the email, account & cc info etc
into his own name ?
