This is just way too much hassle! Please forgive me, but it's bordering on ridiculous...

All i did was take a small piece of scotch tape and stuck it to the under side of the lower prong/hook on the cover. Then i reconnected the cover and
THAT'S IT! NO MORE RESETS
I don't know how important that is but I tried to make sure that there are no lose tape corners sticking out from under the prong/hook.
