Greetings
Hi everyone,
I was running out of room to store more paper books and trying to figure out if I needed to add on to the house, so I started downloading e-books. When my eyes started feeling fatigued, I printed them out, which completely defeated the purpose. I decided that an e-reader was the obvious solution. Kobo sent me a lovely little e-reader to try and I was absolutely thrilled with it.
I now can buy vast quantities of books without worrying about storing more than some little cards. It is especially nice for all the photography e-books I've been buying because I can haul a ton of them around with me to photo shoots in something the size of a single paperback! (And have a few books to entertain the kids, too!)
I can't believe it took me so long to embrace the wonders of an e-reader!
I guess I was supposed to be talking about myself a bit, too, since this is an introduction, so here goes: I live in an old farmhouse in a rural area, where I write, do mixed media art and take photos. I sometimes substitute at my local library, too. I am a Kobo community manager via ShesConnected. My hobbies are reading, sustainable living (I made cheese this year!) and taking care of our assorted critters.
