All of the download links go to the Internet Archive. This is also noted on the "about freebooks" page. So, all PD or OS/CC content. I'd rather just get them directly at the Archive. I could seriously spend hours there, and often do. I don't think this site is suspect, it just has that low-budget front-end look to it.
