Hope you're using a mains charger, TerribleBlue. Charging via USB to your computer ain't too effective with a Sony, and you can't rely on the over-optimistic battery level meter. All my Sony problems were solved when I got a mains charger a couple of years ago. It's worked like a dream ever since. Best wishes. Neil
