your arguement makes no sense. and you have to stop thinking that everyone has your taste or interest. the advantage of supporting epub isnt the abiility for buying books on your devices platform bookstore but the ability to shop outside the walled garden. Beside the one bookstore that sells mobi you are stuck in the walled garden of Amazon.

again as typicaly kindle owners who over compensate and divert. Yes you can shop around that is what ePub does for you whether you have a Sony, Kobo, Nook Sorry you can't do that on the Kindle.
