OK, I admit it. I am a total convert. While I had a passing interest in e-readers I had dismissed them since they seemed ill suited to deliver all the types of content I am interested in. I am a photography nut and wanted to be able to read not only a good book, but also be able to view and read my magazines and photo books. I like the idea of an iPad but every time I sat down to order one I would end up hesitating and ultimately end up walking away.
A few weeks ago I was wandering about my local B&N and ran across their kiosk for the Nook color. I picked it up and played with it for about 10 seconds and just new I had to have it. So, I bought one.
After using it for a few weeks I love it more than ever. For Christmas I have bought two more, one for my wife and another for one of my sons. I hope they enjoy them as much as I have mine. :-)
