Hi glazwegian, don't get me wrong, I love my Sony reader, as I told my mother, it was the best give that I could get.. But the 300 is pretty bare bones.... I have looked at the new Sony's and if the 650 has Wi-Fi I would go with it. And the 950 is so out of my price range at the current moment.

Originally I was all excited to get my hands on the Nook color, but after investigating more into it for me (who reads all the time), the low battery life would be a big deal breaker. I can read upwards of 4 books on my 300 before I have to charge it...

So my choices then are the Kindle or the Nook... I don't necessary like the fact that the Kindle doesn't read epub, when alot of the books that I have in my library are epub... And my biggest concern was the "No canadian acess issue" with the Nook..

I am still kind of on the fence, but leaning more towards the Nook.... But am still up for any information or insight anyone can give. Still have a day or two before my mom heads down to the states...

That is great to know... Did you register over a computer or the Wi-Fi on the Nook?
