Yup. These days the singer does a better Hetfield than Hetfield. Of course to be fair Hetfield's been at it for 30 years.

Erm, well...it sounds more like swing than lounge to me; his "Smoke On The Water" cover sounded like the theme to a detective noir story. Must be the horns. In my case (partially due to age) it's easy to ignore that it's Pat Boone because I was never a regular listener of his anyway, and my definition of "lounge" involves something much less charitable than what Boone does here (think Bill Murray's character on SNL). I lived in Vegas for a few years and I've heard what atrocities can be committed by a lounge singer attempting hard rock or metal.
