I presume you are familiar with Beatallica? (Lennon and McCartney songs as Metallica would do them. Dead on imitation of Metallica, and hilarious covers.)

If memory doesn't fail me, the Boone album wasn't bad if you ignored who was doing it. If it hadn't been Pat Boone, there wouldn't have been nearly the reaction.
