Because you are forcing your eyes to read and focus, and focus, and focus several times, ending with that particular problem. LCD produces an artificial light that creates glare and eye strain.

Please, why people can be so passionated about something? Gosh! ... my own doctor just confirmed this to me. If you read or use your NC for extremely short period of time you are not forcing your eyes at all. But the minute you start using such devices for several hours, several days during the whole week, the whole year, everything change. And with no doubts you are not going to use your NC for 30 min a day and turn it off until next day, are you?

What do you guys want or need to believe it? A signed document by an ophthalmologist?

Anyway, I move on on this topic...honestly ...
