Yep... Mind you I don't necessarily fault people for wanting to sell ebooks. It's more that the normalcy of how we treat a product is very heavily based on what we're used to.

For instance, ads in broadcast TV shows, acceptable; ads for movies at the start of a movie, acceptable; non-movie ads at the start of a movie, a bit weird; ads in the movie itself, intolerable. Put the movie on broadcast TV, and all of the sudden ads are acceptable again.
