Volkodav. (Волкодав)
It's the name originally thouhgt for big hounds/dogs, who can kill a wolf.
The names comes from the words волк which means wolf and давя, which means to chokе. (Wolfchoker?)
But sweet little puppies like the one on the picture are also called volkodavs, because when the wolf sees them, he starts to laugh so hard, he chokes to his death.
You could also try the Bulgarian variation of the name which is written like vAlkodav, but the sound behind the A is ъ. Basically the same sound as tee first one in the word under. Вълкодав.
