Hot sake (not saki) or cold? (Pronounced sahk-keh rather than sahk-key)
I prefer cold myself, but tradition says warm. Many Japanese microwaves even have a pre-set for warming sake. It's really not a very strong drink. About as alcoholic as a good wine. There is another rice-based drink called souchou, often sold flavored with various fruits, that is much stronger.

However, over all, I prefer Kawasaki. (The bike, not the city near Tokyo.) That really lets the good times roll!

I think the experimenting we get to do with teas or coffees is one of the nicest parts. If it were alcoholic drinks we'd need to spend a heck of a lot more on the hobby, only get to drink it in a limited time span during the day, and overdosing would have much more severe consequences.

But despite all the experiments, or perhaps because of them, Shel prefers the greens, Betty prefers the flavored teas, Astra prefers Assam and scotch, (not necessarily together,) pdurrant likes that Coke Zero, ProfCrash goes for the herbals, desertblues gotta have her coffee, Latinandgreek insists on drinking Earl Grey no matter what we tell her, KK prefers diesel fuel, GraceKrispy her peppermint tea, and I prefer the black teas, especially Keemun. What a diverse group we have here! I think it's wonderful!
