Device: Kobo Aura and Kobo Mini, had a Nook, NOOKcolor, Nook STR.
I have registered 2 Nooks here in Canada and there were no problems. I think the problem the poster in the thread SCION posted was a fluke. I am not sure about other registration problems. I registered one in August and another in October of this year (mine was registered while in the US).

And yes, you are correct with the billing. You just have to check the box saying your billing address is the same as your shipping address. Then you can order books via the Shopping button on your Nook.

Did B&N let you order the Nook? I have always picked mine and my friends up while in the US, but I have another friend that wants one. I was wondering if they started letting you buy from Canada? Or did you go through a forwarding company?
