Got this query from a reader:
"I’m trying to discover how to load independent ebooks, such as from Closed Circle, into my iPhone’s Kindle for iPhone app. I can sync just fine for Kindle ebooks purchased from Amazon, to either the Kindle for PC or for iPhone apps. I’ve found how to copy the files (in the needed format) into the ebooks folder used by Kindle for PC on my computer, so it finds the files. But so far, no luck hunting up how to do this for Kindle for iPhone. I’ve also found how to copy files from Closed Circle into iTunes, so that iTunes will sync and upload these into iBooks on the iPhone. (!Ay-ay-ay!) Only Kindle for iPhone is the sticking point. There must be a way, surely, but I have not found the secret decoder ring or club handshake.

Never having used an iphone or anything like, I haven't a clue. Can anybody here help us out?
