What aspect do you want to learn about? Please start asking questions. First, the kindle is great, better than my Libra Pro, but make sure that you use some of the extra functions of your kindle that I don't have on my Libra Pro, otherwise what's the sense in having a Kindle might as well have the Libra Pro. You have a search function, I don't. You have an integrated dictionary, I don't. You can take notes in the margins, I can't. You can put your name on your kindle, I can't. My Libra Pro costs a lot less then your kindle, so its sot of you get what you pay for.
Some book stores like Amazon, Sony, Borders and Barns and Nobles apply encryption to their books so that you need to have their reader in order to read their books. So you will be restricted to Amazon. I also believe that the kindle can read epub format books as well, hopefully someone will come along who knows more about a kindle then I, I have experimented with one for a few minutes but that's about it, not as good as owning one. If the Kindle can take epub then that opens up a wold of possibilities such as Kobobooks, ebooks.com and baen books.
Most books these days have something in them called Digital Rights Management (DRM) in them that limit what you can do with them such as moving them around your PC or sending them as gifts to friends. DRM is not hard to eliminate, simply ask google about it and get more information.
Personally I have nothing against a kindle, if every seller was wiling to sell at my price, $100 I would seriously consider a kindle, however would probably get the sony prs (I like the touch screen aspect).
