Further to taming's point about the renderer, I talked with Liza Daly from threepress.org about their reader (Ibis) and Adobe DRM. Basically, she said if you want to license the Adobe DRM (which you might because everybody else does) you also have to use the Adobe renderer (which you might not want for various reasons). So we have to get Adobe to add dictionary support... and then get the reader sellers to license the new package... probably won't happen soon
