It turns out that if you sign up at the Sourcebooks Jane Austen Bday promo page for their Austen-related newsletter, they send you a coupon for 25% any of the (many) Austen sequels they publish when you buy direct from them. I must say I'm mildly disappointed that no one seems to really do Northanger Abbey sequels, which seem a natural for those zombie/vampire/werewolf/ninja mash-ups.

So if it turns out you like some of the freebies and want to read more, or there's been a couple already on your list that you've been wanting to try, you can probably get a decent deal on the things. Though I think the books might actually work out cheaper via Kobo when they're offering the frequent discount coupons.

And they really need to work on their new shopping site, since even if you navigate to the eBooks section and do a search, the list prices that come up in the results are for the paperback versions and you have to click to the individual product to see the ebook price.
