I use both slots on my 650. It's great to organize data:
- In the on-board flash, I store ebooks and technical manuals in epub, txt or pdf format, thing I use all the time and plan on reading.
- In the SD slot, I have a 16G card that holds a bunch of MP3s, and big things I don't read often like scanned comics.
- In the MS slot, I have a 2G card that I load everyday with newspapers generated during the night by Calibre. I remove that card every evening, stick it in my server's card reader, and I have fresh newspapers the next morning.
