Maybe the Net Book Agreement was abolished, but if you're attempting to buy an ebook from HarperCollins, Hatchette UK, Penguin, Canongate, Macmillan and Simon & Schuster, the price was set by the publisher and no discounting by the retailer is allowed. Perhaps if it gets shut down in the UK, there's hope for the US too.
