Writing on the Sony 650 is NOT like writing on paper. The lag makes me lose my train of thought.

Search for the thread "PDF annotations on Pocketbook 903" for a discussion of the processing power needed for academic-strength notetaking. Ereader hardware is not as capable as the ipad's.
