Considering most ebook stores have at least the mobi format, or it is easy enough to use calibre to convert formats, there is no reason to use amazon except the Ereader itself if you choose not to. We as consumers have a choice, and I for one think Amazon is doing a good job by pulling these titles, which they have every right to do. If I want to read a title they pulled or do not offer, I have other ways to get it. Its not like I am tied to just amazon as you seem to think we are.
